What cookies do

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser and sent back to the relevant website. They can keep an account signed in, protect a website, or remember a preference. norclap does not install analytics, advertising, or cross-site profiling cookies.

Your choices

Essential cookies support the sign-in and security services you request. They do not require prior cookie consent under the applicable technical-cookie exemption. We provide this information and settings so you can understand and manage them.

A remembered login is optional and off by default for new sign-ins. Selecting “Keep me signed in on this device” enables a persistent login cookie. You can withdraw that choice at any time by signing out using Cookie settings or your profile. You can then log in again with the option unchecked. Refusing a remembered login does not prevent you from using an account.

“Understood” only records that you have read the notice. It does not authorise advertising, analytics, or a remembered login. Cookie settings remain available on every page.

Cookie inventory

The norclap cookies below are first-party cookies on this website. The security cookie is supplied by Cloudflare through our hosting infrastructure. In local development, norclap login-cookie names omit the __Secure- prefix.

Login cookies are HttpOnly and Secure on the public website. Browsers with session restoration enabled may restore session cookies after reopening; signing out reliably ends the server session. Existing remembered logins can continue to renew during activity until you sign out. To switch to a browser-session login, sign out and log in again with “Keep me signed in” unchecked.

Information processed and providers

norclap session records associate a random session token with your account and may include an IP address, browser information, and expiry times. The cookie itself does not contain your password or date of birth. Session records are used to provide account access and prevent unauthorised access, not for advertising.

Processing needed to provide the account service you request is based on performance of that service; necessary abuse prevention relies on the legitimate interest in protecting the website and its users. Optional persistent login storage relies on your specific choice. These correspond to GDPR Article 6(1)(b), 6(1)(f), and, where consent is applicable, 6(1)(a).

norclap is hosted through OpenAI Sites on Cloudflare infrastructure. Cloudflare processes technical security information and states that cookie data may be processed in the United States. Its cookie documentation and privacy policy describe its cookies and international-transfer arrangements. Contact norclap for information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your data.

Signing out deletes the current server session record. Expired server session records are removed during the next successful signup or login, or when an expired token is presented. The durations above describe browser storage and session validity. They do not define how long separate account, training, or infrastructure log records are retained. This cookie policy does not replace information about those separate uses of personal data.

Manage or remove cookies

Open Cookie settings to review this information or sign out and remove norclap login cookies. Your browser’s privacy settings let you inspect, block, or delete cookies and site data. Deleting the notice cookie makes the notice appear again. Blocking essential cookies can prevent sign-in or lead to additional security checks. Signing out does not remove Cloudflare’s security cookie; use your browser settings to remove it.

External websites opened through links, including FIS and FISI, have their own cookie policies. The alpine photos and fonts displayed by norclap are served from this website.

Your rights and contact

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing.
